Common Ground - Fionnuala Gill and Davey Arthur

About ‘Common Ground’

From Donegal, Davey Arthur has traveled the world as a solo artist, and with The Fureys. Inducted into the Irish Music Hall of Fame, Davey is one of Ireland’s most recognized musicians in the world and is sought after as both a singer and banjo player.

Fionnuala Gill, from Dublin is a co-founder and former member of Irish choral group Anúna and was featured lead-vocalist with Riverdance. A lead singer with Irish-Norwegian duo Secret Garden (Rolf Løvland & Fionnuala Sherry) for a number of years, Fionnuala is also an established recording artist in her own right, and has played harp for many dignitaries including HE Uachtarán na hÉireann Mary McAleese (president of Ireland), HH Queen Fabiola of Belgium and Bishop Demond Tutu.

‘Common Ground’, the duo’s first project together, is a unique mix of traditional folk and contemporary, and a stunning collaborative venture that will certainly endure.
